The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers growing in power within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as important members in the powerful family could help the party access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Seekers and Planners parties.

Viewers can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
