Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
